For a profession to grow and evolve, standards need to be established, maintained and improved. The Strata Industry is no different, and our Accreditation Programs set the standards that ensure professionalism across the industry.
Whether you’re new to Strata or you’ve been operating for years, there’s a clear, distinct pathway for you to follow below. Each program is designed to help you build a career and demonstrate your expertise.

Accreditation Program
for Strata Community Managers
There are four levels to achieve as you progress through your career as a Strata Community Manager- combining a variety of courses, and selective activities to continue your development.
Who is it for?
Strata Community Managers, or anyone who’s employed by a Strata Management company.
Why should I become Accredited?
You’ll increase your knowledge to effectively work in this unique industry. You’ll also learn the best practice approach for a range of situations, increasing your level of professionalism.
As a result, you will command greater respect from your clients, owners and service providers, as you efficiently handle tricky situations with increased confidence.
Accreditation Application Fee: $0
Temporary Provisional Accreditation
SCA National is applying to become an RTO to deliver the Certificate IV in Strata Community Management. If you wish to wait for this course run by SCA, you can apply for temporary provisional accreditation.
Criteria for 1 year in role as practising OC Manager with 1 year SCA Membership tenure
> Complete 12 CPD over the past 12 months
> Complete the full A100 course – Go to your regions activity or events page to find the next live session
> Get a police check
> Apply for Level 1 Accreditation for ‘Transitional’ Status here
Criteria for 2 years in role as practising OC Manager with 2 years SCA Membership tenure
> Complete 12 CPD over the past 12 months
> Complete the A100. You may complete the A100 Fast-Track (assessment only with 3 attempts)
> If A100 Fast-Track is failed, you must enrol and pass A100 online or in-person
> Get a police check
> Apply for Level 1 Accreditation for ‘Transitional’ Status here
Transition to full Level 1 Approved status
> Enrol in Cert IV in Strata Community Management or 4 Units with SCA by 1 July 2025
> Maintain 12 CPD points per FY for annual accreditation renewal on 1 July 2025
> Complete Cert IV in Strata Community Management or 4 Units within 18 months of provisional status provided
Please note: If you have a University or VET Qualification, please provide this to accreditation@strata.community to see if you can receive full Level 1 accreditation without transition requirements.

There are three levels to achieve as you progress through your career as a Strata Service Provider – combining a variety of courses, and selective activities to continue your professional development.
Who is it for?
Anyone who provides services to the Strata Industry.
Why should I become Accredited?
You will increase the amount of knowledge you have in the Strata industry. You will become a more effective participant with greater insight, and increased chances of receiving ongoing strata contracts.

How to become an Approved CPD Training Provider?
First, you need to be a Business, Strata Profession Industry Provider, or Corporate Strata Management member.
Then, if you believe you’re qualified to educate SCA members in various aspects of the Strata Industry, complete the application form. It will be reviewed by the local Education Manager, or the National Professional Standards Manager, who will decide if your application has been successful.
