About Us

SCA-SA and NT-Logo-Colour.jpg

Strata Community Association (SA/NT) represents members across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

SCA (SA/NT) proudly fulfills the dual roles of a professional organisation and consumer advocate - natural for the peak representative body, and membership is open to anyone with an interest in the efficient administration of strata schemes. Membership is therefore diverse, representing all of the major stakeholders in the strata sector, including strata managers, members of owners committees, in addition to allied professionals such as lawyers, accountants, real estate and on-site managers.

History

SCA (SA) was established in 1984 as the Strata Titles Institute. With the advent of Community Titles it was subsequently renamed the Community and Strata Corporation Institute of SA Inc (CTISA). In 1996 the National Community Titles Institute (NCTI) was established, and CTISA became a founding member.

In 2011 NCTI re-branded as Strata Community Australia (SCA), with CTISA becoming a chapter. From a fledgling industry, body corporate management has developed to become a highly regarded profession with national competency standards, education programs and seminars, and a common code of ethics and constitution.

In 2020 SCA (SA) and SCA (NT) merged to work together to the truly national representation of today.
