Tony Johnson
SCA (SA/NT) Committee Member
As the head of Strata Management Company; Stratarama, Tony has been a Manager of all forms of property types that include common property (Strata, Community, Company), in a South Australian career exceeding 20 years and a background in Property management. During this time Tony has seen substantial changes in the relevant Acts and surrounding legislation as well as the general changing landscape of property types and styles, both residential and commercial.
Tony believes that increasing Lot/ Unit Owner's understanding of their rights and responsibilities within their complexes is one of the highest priorities facing the industry. Ensuring that all stakeholders are respected and able to work well together.
A former SCA (SA/NT) Committee Member, Tony returns to the Committee, though in his absence he continued to work closely with the SCA, volunteering at events such as the Careers Expo and being called upon to judge interstate award categories.
Tony’s credentials include being a Fellow Accredited Strata & Community Manager (FSCM), an A100 attendee, with a diploma in property services, and a multiple award winner in the Strata sector across not only service delivery and professionalism but also essays delving into strata related matters.
To improve the governance of SCA (SA/NT), all Executive Chapter members have for disclosure of conflict of interest completed a Register of Interests. Also, to reinforce what is implicit in being a Member they have agreed to abide by SCA (SA/NT) Executive Chapter Terms of Reference and Chapter Executive Confidentiality Policy.
