SAMMY-JO MURFET

SCA (TAS) Executive Chapter Committee Member

Sammy-Jo has worked in property based positions for over ten years by a combination of real estate, conveyancing and strata. Throughout this time, Sammy-Jo has seen Tasmania’s diverse property industry throughout my employment on the North West Coast, Northern and Southern regions of Tasmania.

Sammy-Jo worked as a Real Estate Sales Consultant on Hobart’s eastern shore, however she returned to employment as a Conveyancer, and gained her Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing and eventually began working as an independent consultant supporting two firms in Hobart.

Sammy-Jo entered the strata industry in 2020, shortly thereafter obtaining a Certificate IV in Strata Community Management. Sammy-Jo has a passion for working with local communities and enjoy the connections and challenges the strata industry brings.

Her education and employment background provides her with a unique viewpoint to contribute to the Chapter Executive, with experience and insight into the professional sectors working parallel to the strata industry. Sammy-Jo is an advocate for specialised Tasmanian strata training, as education and a cohesive awareness amongst professionals across the property industry is necessary to achieve greater positive outcomes for strata corporations as well as those involved in Tasmania’s strata industry.
