Shelley is a partner at major commercial law firm Thomson Geer, specialising in commercial litigation, strata and dispute resolution and insolvency. Shelley appears regularly in the ACT Supreme and Magistrates Courts and in the Federal Court. A strong negotiator, with experience advising clients on a range of complex issues Shelley was admitted to practice in 2005. Shelley has the proven ability to achieve commercial resolutions at an early stage of matters and provides efficient and practical advice to her clients on a range of technical legal issues.

Shelley has been named by Doyle’s Guide every year since 2017 in relation to commercial litigation and dispute resolution, and was named in Best Lawyers in Australia in its 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 Eds for commercial law.

Shelley is a member of the Australia Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association; the current president of SCA (ACT); and a member of the MBA (ACT).
